The paint is natural chalk paint: chalk and pigment. It doesn’t self-level like modern paint, so the brush strokes stay in the finish. That’s the point. Once the paint has cured, each frame is waxed by hand for a soft, deep finish with a warmth and character that pre-painted moulding can’t match.
Choose your color from the collection chart in the photos. Every color is mixed and painted in our shop. Frames larger than 19 inches hang on wire.

The frame is well made and came quickly. The only thing is that the color was very different than what it looked to be online. I understand that that happens though.

The color is exactly as pictured and the frame is smooth and free of splinters or rough places. The hangers on the back give me the option to hang it in either direction. I will order more in other colors in the future. I arrived quickly.
