Colorful Picture Frames - Choose Your Color/Size - Handmade Picture Frame - Solid Wood
These frames wear two colors at once. We paint a full base coat, let it cure, lay a contrasting color over the top, then sand the top coat back by hand until the base breaks through. No two frames wear through the same way, so every frame is one of one.
Both coats are natural chalk paint, and once the sanding is done the whole frame is waxed by hand for a soft, deep finish. Pick your color pair from the photos. Every combination is mixed and painted in our shop.

i ordered two of these frames, same size/color... they LOOK pretty nice - there were a couple of small "defects" on the frame where the paint didn't cover the "defect" so there were like white spots (i had a sharpie of a similar color and was able to fill in the spots so not a terrible issue)... but, these were advertised as 5x7 size frames and they are not - the opening on one of the frames was 4 1/2 inches wide by 6 3/8 inches tall; the other was 4 1/2 inches wide by 6 5/8 inches tall... i measured one, then printed out my pictures (two copies of the same); when i went to frame the 2nd one, it was too small due to the different size - had to resize and reprint the photo for the 2nd one... i think the cost of these frames would have indicated a little better attention to detail - i made them work, but was disappointed overall

As expected. Includes felt pads on back to cushion against wall and prevent tilting. That gave a star, which made up for the star I docked for the opening being 4.6 inches rather than 5"

Beautiful frame, purchased as a Christmas present for a loved one (2nd pic). The glass did arrive broken and frame was disassembled (1st pic). Most likely due to the shipping process, as the packaging itself seemed secure enough. There was no “fragile”sticker on the box.
